2.  Regularly clean your pet’s ears using an ear cleansing solution 

3.  Dry the ear canals after bathing or swimming

4.  Surgery—for dogs with repeated ear infections or no response to other treatment

5.  Never overuse ear cleaners, ear mite medications, or any ear remedy
